Our
premium chicken based pet foods (Go! Natural Cat Food or Go!
Natural Dog Food) are compromised of 2 types of chicken
products. The first is a low ash chicken meal, and the
second being fresh chicken. The difference between the two
is simply that the chicken meal is the dried version of
fresh chicken. Chicken meal is derived from a combination of
clean flesh and skin with or without the bones. It DOES NOT
contain feathers, heads, feet or entrails. Basically it is
the same components of chicken that we would normally eat
ourselves. The fresh chicken that we are using in all
Petcurean Dog Food, including GO! Natural Dog Food, is in
fact human grade chicken, that is grain fed with no animal
by-products – free of hormones.
We
source this product from a plant that produces chicken for
the human food chain, and is in fact, the same product used
to manufacture such products as chicken wieners, chicken
nuggets, etc.
To
fully understand the quality of ingredients that we require
for our pet foods, you should know that on those summer days
when we utilize fresh chicken; our staff will in fact take a
small portion of this meat and barbecue chicken burgers for
themselves at lunchtime.
